The IMC is the steering committee for the NURI programme comprising of: the RDE, CF, Line ministries (MAAIF, MoFPED, MWT, MWE, OPM), DLG Chairpersons, CAOs, District Production and Engineering heads, IP and IU heads, District focal point officers and farmers.
The IMC holds annual meetings to carry out monitoring of programme implementation process. The purpose is to identify challenges, lessons learnt and make recommendations to the RDE for possible improvement of the programme.
The meetings include implementation status updates from partners and field visits to the programme beneficiaries.
