Agency for Accelerated Regional Development (AFARD) is implementing NURI in the three districts of Nebbi, Zombo and Pakwach. AFARD assessed and identified able farmer groups to benefit from the program in all the sub counties in the three districts excluding the town councils and municipalities. AFARD provides support to these farmer groups based on their choice of the strategic crop, preparation of business plans, training in Climate Smart Agriculture and the commitment of the farmer groups to implement planned activities. AFARD works with 615 groups (230-Zombo, 230-Nebbi and 155-Pakwach).
